With two lovely bedrooms and its wondrous infinity pool, Ammos has been lovingly created to host an intimate group of family or friends.

From a terrace, you cross the pebble beach via a boardwalk and dip into the turquoise waters – ideal for snorkeling, bathing, fishing, or simply enjoying the natural wildlife as sandpipers, herons, falcons, and other birds hover over the beach.

Ammos is the Greek word for sand, and you discover the link with this Youphoria villa as soon as you set foot in the sea and discover the smooth pebbles giving way to fine sand beneath the waves.

With solid wood finishing and softwood flooring, the highest quality fittings and furnishings throughout, and discreet LED-lit steps, the villa is designed with a love of the sea in mind and is a perfect base for taking a boat out to explore the coastline, head off to Gramvousa or Souda Bay, or take in the ocean air.

Set on Kissamos Bay, the contemporary, purpose-built property features clean lines and uses natural colors and materials as it makes the most of the natural light. Expansive windows from the open-plan kitchen/breakfast bar area seamlessly link the interior with the outdoors to offer a wonderful beachfront panorama.

The large outdoor living space – with all-day sunshine around the pool – includes a pergola and dining table with grass areas suitable for children to play on.

Rocks in front of the self-catering villa light up at night, creating a magical shoreline aura as you barbeque and enjoy al fresco dining late into the evening with a glass of Cretan wine on the terrace.

Comfortably sleeping five guests, Ammos offers a perfect base to explore Western Crete, eat fresh fish in local tavernas, shop in Chania, or bathing on beaches such as the delightful Falasarna or the shell-strewn Elafonisi, or discover your Cretan gems…and we may just be able to let you in on a few hidden secrets with our extensive local knowledge!

*The semi-detached villa, set in landscaped gardens and grassed areas, is part of our three beachfront villas, each with its style and privacy but connected by internal doors. Talk to us about bringing your family and friends and renting any combination of Ammos, Votsalo (sleeps 7), and Meltemi (sleeps 5) for larger parties.

Sleeps five guests in two bedrooms and one sofa, plus a baby cot. There is one master bedroom with a double bed (160×200) and one guest bedroom with a double bed (180×200) that can convert to twin beds, both with en-suite bathrooms. The whole villa is on one level with open-plan living, dining, and kitchen areas, with a total indoor space of 120 sqm.

The swimming pool of 45 Sqm can be heated on request and only one pool can be heated at a time by the two existing pools of the estate with the use of a Pool Heat Pump at about 28°C depending on weather conditions.
Pool heating is 120 euros per day extra (extra charge applies for higher temperatures required). We request three days' advance notice for this facility. A pool cover can be provided and has to be used to achieve the best pool heating effect. Min use is 5 days.
